SpeechTrans Ultimate Assistant App Reviews

Downloaded before updating to the new OS and it ran great! However with the new OS it wont even launch, for me at least.

After reading one awesome review, I decided I ought to try it. Terrible mistake. I spent $15.00 on this app. You have to spend multiple purchases to get the language you desire. Waste of money, effort and will be requesting for a refund.

I used this product at first - but When I up dated the device it QUIT Working and I cant get anybody to respond!!

The online translation is as good as any Ive used. The offline translation is quite poor. It translated the English "how many" to the Spanish "como muchas" instead of "quantas." Muchas means many as in a lot. You wouldnt ask this. In all my attempts, the offline English to Spanish was poor. It translated each word literally without regard to grammar or context.

Expensive app, which would be ok as it bills itself as a voice recognition translator with an offline mode. Problem is the voice recognition doesnt work offline, only the text, and then after a very costly dictionary purchase. They need to make this clearer as this is money down the drain. Will be asking for a refund as this is not properly advertised.

Was working fine on my iPad 1 with iOS 5 until last update which I installed today, 13 jan 14. Now it wont launch! Please fix this ASAP. I paid for the app and expect it to continue working. This shows me that yet another company who makes apps doesnt know what the term "regression testing" means. They should test any and all updates on all versions for iPhone and iPad hardware, as well as each of the various iOS revisions. If a newer version of the app is not applicable to older hardware or operating system, then it should not show up in the app store as an update, nor should you be able to download and install it if it is going to render it unusable. Come on guys - I am confident you can do better than this. Show some professionalism, please!

This application is less than useless. The included translation system is so slow its useless. The other problem is the companies built in service purchases are useless. I paid to use their translation services. They never worked and no one answers or returns phone calls at the company. After repeated attempts to get a live translator on the phone I gave up and canceled the service. Please, dont get sucked in by this app.

This App is not working. It crashes all the time.

Works awesome most features chat dictate photo translation and video chat is really cool!

Downloaded it awhile ago and it worked ok. Bought one of the language packs. Cant even use it now, I see the log and then it crashes. Moving on...

After the update, this app wont open..I click on it and it blinks and I get nothing

Yes this is the best translator on iTunes. It comes with 41 language voice recognition and translation which is fast and accurate, ability to playback previous translations offline, Facebook, Gtalk, Yahoo, AIM and SpeechTrans Chat with speech recognition, translation, and video chat. I purchased offline translations and photo translation which I unlocked through the in app and use it very where, this app is awesome!

Sorry to say this,but I guess not only to me and for those people also whose looking an apps not just the best one but its helpful for foreigners like me just to translate the photo with some words that totally we dont understand..this is USELESS! I hope you can fix it sooner or later :) now that the google translate is no longer working here in china :(sorry..

Got SpeechTrans before my summer vacation in Europe and it really helped me to communicate better with its fast translations and wide number of supported languages. This is definitely a must-have language app.

Found this to be a superb translation app with a huge list of languages. It even correctly translated my very limited Greek. Found it to be immensely helpful

Hang when selecting/changing language renders this app useless. Please fix.

This app is ideal for someone who needs language translation for a language such as Spanish and is accurate.

The app repeatedly fails to connect to the server & wont recognize the password provided by customer service. App also requires lots of private information not necessary for use of a translation app. And good luck unsubscribing from their mailing list. None of the "Unsubscribe" links in their mass emails work. This app smells fishy! Im uninstalling & wouldnt recommend.
